For the past 6 years, the Web Marketing Association recognises the best in responsive mobile web and application development with the MobileWebAward (MWA) competition, and is the only industry-based advertising award to do so.

Judging against criteria such as creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, usability and memorability, RGC Digital Marketing is thrilled to be awarded the Best In Industry – Best Consumer Goods Mobile Application for our client Mitsubishi Electric in which we developed the Fridge Finder App.

About the Awards:

The Web Marketing Association annually awards website and mobile excellence across 96 industries, helping set the industry benchmark for these platforms. Since founding in 1997, the Web Marketing Association has awarded outstanding website development, and more recently began recognising mobile excellence as a response to the explosive growth and creativity in today’s mobile world.

The awards are judged by volunteers who are highly expert industry professionals that hold knowledge, expertise and practical experience in online advertising and digital platforms. The 2017 panel consisted of global experts from a range of leading organisations, including Ford Motor Company, Google and IBM just to name a few.

About our Award-Winning Mobile Application:

On behalf of Mitsubishi Electric, the RGC Digital Marketing team designed and developed a first of its kind application, created as a promotional tool for driving brand and product awareness for Mitsubishi Electric’s refrigerator range. The easy to use Fridge Finder App was designed for consumers who were looking to purchase a new fridge by suggesting practical options dependant on the consumers needs. The mobile app incorporated innovative and creative virtual reality technology to help the consumer make a decision, and included important features to direct a consumer to their nearest store.
